Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Traveling Field Welder/Millwright to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on-site at various manufacturing facilities, providing expert welding, mechanical repairs, and maintenance services. The ideal candidate will be proactive, dependable, and eager to contribute their technical skills to complex projects across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

Perform welding using stick/mig specific welding techniques, ensuring precision and safety standards are met.
Install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial machinery.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and control system diagrams.
Conduct routine maintenance and emergency repairs on equipment utilizing precision measuring instruments like ammeters and ohmmeters.
Operate various field service tools including scissor lifts, forklifts, and other lifting equipment safely.

Skills

Extensive experience working in manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and maintenance.
Proficiency in welding techniques specific to stick/mig welding standards.
Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters accurately.
Strong analysis skills for diagnosing mechanical or electrical problems efficiently.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information.
Experience working in field service environments with a focus on safety, quality, and timely project completion.
Industrial mechanic experience is considered a plus for this dynamic role.
