Full Job Description

Patient Care Coordinator

Lifesmiles Family Dentistry in Bloomington is seeking a standout Patient Care Coordinator to be the warm, welcoming face of our private practice. In this role, you will greet patients, help them feel at ease, and ensure they receive the care they deserve. Preferred experience/skillset/characteristics:

>1 year of experience working in a dental setting
Ability to navigate and utilize Eaglesoft or experience with similar dental software
Ability to navigate and utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook programs for daily use
Desired characteristics: superb time management, high attention to detail, self-starter, ability to multi-task, work independently while also working cohesively within a team, ability to navigate financial conversations with patients and more

Position description highlights (Front office tasks include but are not limited to):

Greeting, checking in, and checking out patients
Collecting patient portions and reviewing financial arrangements
Scheduling appointments and managing recare
Verifying insurance benefits and reviewing treatment plans
Managing claims through a clearinghouse
Coordinating patient referrals
Managing accounts receivable (AR) reports
Supporting overall front office workflow and patient experience

Software/3rd party vendor utilization:

Eaglesoft PM software
NexHealth patient communication system

Hours:

Monday – Wednesday 6:30 am – 5:00 pm
Thursday 6:30 am – 1:00 pm

*Flexible schedule design can be discussed in a further interview

Compensation & benefits:

Compensation starting at $26/hour
