Join One of Idaho's Premier Private Clubs

The Club at SpurWing is seeking a talented, motivated, and team-oriented Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who thrives in a fast-paced, high-quality environment and takes pride in creating exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests.

Working alongside our Executive Chef, the Sous Chef will help lead daily kitchen operations, mentor and develop the culinary team, maintain the highest food quality standards, and ensure efficient execution for à la carte dining, banquets, weddings, golf tournaments, and member events.

What You'll Do

· Assist in leading all daily kitchen operations.

· Prepare and execute high-quality menu items with consistency.

· Supervise, train, and mentor line cooks and prep staff.

· Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion standards are maintained.

· Help manage food costs, inventory, ordering, and waste reduction.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.

· Ensure compliance with all health department and food safety regulations.

· Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to provide exceptional member service.

· Assist with menu development, seasonal features, and special events.

· Step into leadership responsibilities in the Executive Chef's absence.

Qualifications

· 3+ years of culinary experience, with previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

· Experience in upscale restaurants, private clubs, hotels, or banquet operations is a plus.

· Strong leadership and communication skills.

· Ability to remain organized and composed during busy service periods.

· Passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences.

· Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
