Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Floral Store Manager to lead Bunches, our boutique floral shop. This is a hands-on leadership role who will be the operational and creative heartbeat of the shop—overseeing everything from daily operations and team coordination to design execution and client relationships. The ideal candidate is an experienced floral professional with a keen eye for luxury aesthetics, strong leadership skills, and a client-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Shop Operations & Leadership
- Lead overall daily operations, including opening/closing procedures, policy and procedure compliance and staff coordination.
- Manage front-of-house presentation, ensuring a clean, organized, and brand-aligned environment.
- Plan and lead weekly staff meetings, communicating shop goals and quality expectations.
- Create and manage an efficient weekly work schedule for designers, deliveries, and event timelines.
Client Relations & Sales
- Serve as the primary liaison for clients, offering personalized, white-glove service.
- Handle custom floral requests, consultations, service recovery, and ongoing client communications.
- Maintain client profiles to ensure a personalized experience, noting preferences, special dates, and past orders.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to continuously improve sales performance and profitability of shop
Floral Design & Event Execution
- Design premium floral arrangements for daily orders, corporate clients, and special events.
- Execute high-impact installations for weddings, galas, and branded experiences from concept to breakdown.
- Conduct quality checks on all outgoing designs to ensure alignment with shop standards and client expectations.
Purchasing & Inventory Management
- Manage floral purchasing from in-house buyers and local wholesalers; maintain seasonal inventory.
- Track product availability, forecast holiday demands, and coordinate large-scale production schedules.
- Maintain supply inventory (vases, candles, tools, packaging) and reorder as needed.
- Curate and rotate in-store displays that reflect seasonal trends and enhance customer experience.
Staff Supervision & Training
- Supervise, mentor, and train team members in design technique, customer service, and workflow processes.
- Oversee delivery logistics, including routing, driver dispatch, and arrangement quality control.
- Support staff with POS transactions and ensure accurate daily sales reconciliation.
Vendor & Data Management
- Maintain strong relationships with floral and hard goods vendors, negotiating pricing and ensuring quality.
- Monitor sales trends and customer data to inform purchasing, staffing, and promotional planning
Qualifications
- 3+ years of floral industry experience with proven leadership in a retail environment
- ***A MUST***Strong floral design background with a portfolio of event or luxury floral work *
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Proficiency in retail sales, cash handling, and POS systems
- Organizational skills and ability to manage inventory effectively
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
