Water Treatment Account Manager

Tired of all the company mergers and acquisitions in the water treatment market? Has your employer changed ownership recently? Are you looking for employment with an organization that offers generous bonus and commission packages? Syntec Corporation is actively hiring and seeking a Water Treatment Account Manager in the Tri-State Region DE/PA/NJ.

About Us

Since 1973, Syntec Corporation has been providing quality water treatment products and services to a wide range of industries including chemical, food processing, electric utility, health care, manufacturing, pharmaceutical and commercial real estate to the Northeast Corridor. We are looking for an experienced Boiler and Cooling Water Account Manager to service existing accounts and generate new business in the Tri-State Region DE/PA/NJ area. Position requires sales experience as the service territory assigned to the Account Manager allows for open days for sales prospecting and existing customer sales.

The Water Treatment Account Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and servicing existing and new accounts in the Tri-State region. They will work closely with our customers to provide water treatment programs tailored to their specific needs.

Responsibilities

Service boiler and cooling existing accounts, with base territory valued at 200K.
Establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
Strengthen and develop new business with existing clients including top notch healthcare organizations and educational campuses.
Development and performance of all sales activity including lead generation, cold calling, and appointment setting.
Good mechanical and analytical skills are needed for the servicing of accounts which includes but is not limited to; chemical testing, calibration and repair of chemical feed-related equipment, and visual inspections of systems when necessary.
Strong proposal writing skills.
Schedule service and sales calls – includes daily, weekly and monthly reporting
A proven leader who can identify new business needs and opportunities including developing and implementing customized solutions for our customers and new customer prospects.

Requirements

Preferably reside in the Tri-State Region.
4 Year Degree, Chemical or Engineering preferred
Pesticide License preferred
Minimum five years experience in water treatment, water hygiene, pre-treatment systems, environmental health and safety, and/or secondary disinfection is preferred, but not required.
Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and management skills.
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Familiar with CSR software (Salesforce) for lead tracking etc.
Knowledgeable in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
MUST be Highly Motivated and a Self-Starter.
MUST be in good physical ability.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record preferably with no moving violations.

Compensation

Salary Range: Starting at 80K Base Salary. Dependent upon experience.

Commissions: Commissions offered. Commission % is negotiable.
