Position Overview:
The Licensed Mental Health Clinician provides outpatient psychotherapy through secure telehealth to clients located in New Jersey. Services may include individual, couples, family, and group therapy within the clinician's scope of competence and assigned caseload.
This is a W-2 fee-for-service position. Compensation is based primarily on completed billable sessions. Required meetings, training, and other compensable non-session duties are paid in accordance with practice policy and applicable law.
We seek clinicians who can build and maintain approximately 15–30 completed client sessions per week following credentialing and caseload development. Caseloads typically begin part-time and expand based on client demand, clinician availability, payer credentialing, performance, and referral volume.
Reports to: Chief Clinical Officer
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide telehealth psychotherapy in accordance with professional standards, payer requirements, applicable laws, and practice policies.
- Conduct scheduled sessions punctually and professionally.
- Maintain an active New Jersey professional license in good standing and comply with all applicable ethical and legal requirements.
- Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation, including assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries, and other required records.
- Respond to assigned client and internal communications through approved systems within one business day during established working availability, consistent with clinical urgency and practice policy.
- Attend required meetings, training, and practice events. Required attendance is compensated in accordance with applicable law and company policy.
- Maintain ethical, collaborative relationships with clients, colleagues, supervisors, administrative staff, and referral sources.
- Maintain recurring client availability during at least two weekday evenings as agreed during onboarding.
- Perform other reasonable duties related to the position. All compensable work must be accurately recorded in accordance with company policy.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Commitment to ethical, client-centered, culturally responsive care.
- Master's or doctoral degree qualifying for New Jersey licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT, with an active unrestricted New Jersey license.
- Ability to maintain a recurring caseload of approximately 15 completed sessions per week at minimum once fully onboarded and credentialed.
- Strong clinical judgment, organization, communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with the clinical team.
- Clinical experience or demonstrated interest in one or more specialty areas such as trauma, anxiety, grief, children, adolescents, couples, families, or faith-integrated counseling (when requested by the client).
- Professional liability insurance of at least $1M/$3M (proof required before providing services).
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.

- Reliable high-speed internet.

- Private, secure, distraction-free workspace suitable for confidential telehealth services.
- Ability to troubleshoot routine technology issues.
- Compliance with HIPAA and company technology/security policies.
- Professional appearance during client sessions and company meetings.
Compensation:
$50–$80 per completed billable session, depending on clinician credentials, experience, specialization, and session type.
This is a W-2 fee-for-service position and is not salaried. Required meetings, training, and other compensable administrative duties are paid in accordance with company policy and applicable wage-and-hour laws.

*Sign-On Bonus:
Qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on and retention bonus of up to $500, payable in installments upon successful completion of specified employment milestones. Eligibility, payment schedule, and terms will be discussed during the interview process and outlined in the offer letter.
