Senior Restaurant Manager/ Assistant General Manager

Mary Mac’s Tea Room | Atlanta, GA

Join the Management Team at an Atlanta Institution

Mary Mac’s Tea Room has been serving Southern hospitality for generations, and we’re looking for experienced restaurant leaders who are passionate about people, hospitality, and delivering great results.

We’re seeking a Senior Front of House Manager and a Kitchen Manager to help lead our high-volume restaurant operation. These are hands-on leadership roles responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences, developing team members, managing daily operations, and driving strong financial performance.

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of restaurant management experience in a full-service or casual dining environment
A proven track record of leading high-performing teams
Experience managing restaurant financials, including labor, costs, and profitability
Strong coaching and people-development skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Comfortable using restaurant technology, reporting tools, and scheduling systems
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
ServSafe certification preferred

As a Senior FOH Manager, you’ll be the face of the operation, leading the guest experience while supporting and developing the front-of-house team.

What You’ll Do Each Day

Lead dining room operations and set the tone for hospitality
Engage with guests and ensure every visit meets Mary Mac’s standards
Handle guest concerns and service recovery situations with professionalism
Coach and support servers, hosts, bartenders, and to go staff
Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily goals
Monitor service execution, cleanliness, and team performance
Manage labor throughout the shift and adjust staffing as needed
Support hiring, onboarding, and training efforts
Ensure company policies and service standards are consistently followed

What You’ll Do Each Week

Review sales, labor, and operational performance results
Analyze guest feedback and identify opportunities for improvement
Conduct coaching conversations and performance discussions
Assist with scheduling and labor planning
Participate in management meetings and business reviews
Interview and recruit new team members
Help execute initiatives that improve guest satisfaction and profitability
