Job Summary

Atlantic Audiology, a privately-owned Audiology practice in Rhode Island, is seeking an Audiologist to add to our team! We currently have well-established offices in Cranston and North Kingstown as well as a new Westerly location as well. We have been helping patients in our community since 2017 and we are passionate about providing both the best hearing healthcare technology available and the best patient experience possible. Our audiologists work in 2 locations and we're looking for a candidate to work in our Cranston and North Kingstown locations.

The Audiologist will be responsible for hearing evaluations for patients ages 10 and up, adult hearing aid fittings, and follow-up care. We provider cerumen removal services utilizing the Earigator system and fit custom hearing protection as well. Our practice emphasizes the importance of education of patients in regards to hearing loss and hearing aid care and we try to include family members in the process as well to optimize outcomes.

Our practice has been voted #1 or Top 3 in the Providence Journal’s Reader’s Choice- now known as Community Choice competition for Best Hearing Aid Center since 2019.

In 2023 we started to implement more community outreach programs. This includes holding an educational series at local senior centers (Cranston, North Kingstown, East Greenwich, Coventry, and Jamestown) and performing hearing screening events.

We’re looking to expand our reach here as well.

The following DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES are central to the role:

· Conduct diagnostic comprehensive hearing evaluations.

· Executes a treatment plan through excellent counseling and education.

· Recommend and fit proper hearing devices based on patient’s needs.

· Assist in clinical administrative functions including phone calls, documentation, and reporting.

· Maintain confidentiality of all business and patient information.

· Adherence to company policies and procedures

· Involved in marketing and public outreach, including community events, lunch and learns, health fairs, and senior living events.

Potential Practice Growth Options Include:

· Cochlear Implant experience (a plus if the candidate is already proficient).

· Tinnitus Program Implementation

To ensure success, candidates should also possess the following EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

· Demonstrated experience building strong and positive relationships with patients.

· Masters or Doctorate in Audiology

· Active Rhode Island Audiology license or eligible for licensure

Our Offerings:

- Competitive base salary. $80-90K for those with 10+ years’ experience

- Commissions averaging $3500 per month for a clinician averaging 46% help rate. Higher help rate= Higher commission.

- Monthly and Quarterly team “Patients Helped” goals (potential $4000 in income annually).

- Community outreach opportunities as described above.

- Consistent schedule. NO SEND-OVER Audios!

- Great schedule: 8-5 Mon-Thurs with paid 1 hour lunch. Fridays 8-12.

- Possibility to work extra time on Friday afternoons to bank up to 1 extra PTO day per month.

- 4 weeks PTO to start

- 13 Paid Holidays

- 401K with 4% match after 1 year of employment

- $2000 annual stipend for use for licensing, CEUs, professional memberships, trainings/courses

- $5000 sign-on bonus paid over the first 5 months of employment
