Georgia Winery is looking for an energetic, outgoing Wine Sales & Hospitality Associate to independently operate our tasting booth inside Rock City Gardens, one of the Southeast's most visited attractions.
This is more than a wine-serving position.
You are the face of Georgia Winery to thousands of visitors each season. Your mission is to create memorable guest experiences, introduce people to our wines, encourage bottle sales, and inspire visitors to continue their experience by visiting our winery just 20 minutes away in Ringgold, Georgia.
If you enjoy meeting new people, starting conversations, working independently, and being rewarded for your effort through tips, this may be the perfect position for you.
Your primary responsibility is to engage every eligible guest who walks by, create a memorable wine tasting experience, and inspire them to purchase wine and visit Georgia Winery.

Georgia Winery has been family-owned since 1983 and is one of Georgia's oldest wineries. We produce award-winning Southern wines and welcome thousands of visitors each year to our winery for wine tastings, fresh Vineyard Oven Pinsa Pizza, live music, winery tours, and special events.
Many Rock City guests have never heard of Georgia Winery before arriving at our booth.

Operate the Booth Independently
This position requires someone who is dependable, organized, and comfortable working without direct supervision.
Responsibilities include:
- Opening and closing the booth
- Hosting wine tastings
- Processing retail sales and POS transactions
- Restocking inventory
- Maintaining a clean, organized workspace
- Representing the Georgia Winery brand professionally
- Communicating effectively with management

No wine experience?
We'll teach you everything you need to know.
Customer service, retail, food service, hospitality, tourism, or sales experience is helpful but not required.

Physical & Schedule Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Lift up to 50 pounds (wine cases)
- Stand and work on your feet for extended periods
- Reliable transportation
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Comfortable working in a covered outdoor booth year-round
Weekend and holiday availability is required.
Our booth follows Rock City's operating hours. Most shifts are full-day shifts, allowing many team members to work fewer days each week while maximizing their earning potential through tips.
Pay
Base Pay: $12/hour
Average Tips: $7.80–$13+/hour
Typical Earnings: $19–25+ per hour
Your earning potential is largely in your hands.
Team members who enthusiastically greet guests, invite visitors to enjoy complimentary tastings, and create memorable experiences consistently earn the highest tips.
