Full Job Description

LaFace Flooring, LLC is a trusted leader in the flooring and construction industries. We are committed to delivering excellence to our clients and building a strong foundation for sustainable growth. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Business Manager to join our team. If you have a solid background in finance and office operations and want to be a part of a dynamic and growing company, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bookkeeping to ensure timely and accurate processing.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements; maintain up-to-date financial records.
Assist the Owner with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Oversee daily office operations, including supply management, scheduling, and administrative support.
Serve as a point of contact for vendors, clients, and internal team members regarding billing or office/ administrative matters.
Help streamline processes and improve efficiency in office systems and financial practices.
Prepare and submit payroll accurately and on time, including tracking hours, deductions, and PTO.
Manage personnel files and coordinate the filing and archiving of confidential records and information.

Qualifications:

5+ years in business administration, bookkeeping, or financial operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks.
Familiarity with payroll software and practices.
Strong understanding of A/P and A/R processes and basic financial reporting.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word).
Prior experience in construction, flooring, or a service-based business is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
Manual dexterity for using office equipment, such as computers, calculators, and filing systems.
Occasional lifting of office supplies or files (up to 50 lbs).
Regular, physical on-site attendance is required.

Environmental Conditions:

Primarily office-based role in a professional, fast-paced environment.
Occasional interaction with warehouse and field staff.
Standard indoor working conditions with minimal exposure to dust or noise.
