Full Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Deliver critical diagnostic care as an experienced Ultrasound Technologist, specializing in general ultrasound imaging. This contract role calls for a dedicated professional, committed to accuracy and patient-centered service, and ready to play an integral part in a healthcare team focused on quality and compassion.

Qualifications & Experience:

Registered or registry-eligible Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer
Proficiency in a wide spectrum of general ultrasound imaging procedures
Completion of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program
Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), or the ability to obtain prior to start
Strong patient interaction and communication skills
Previous clinical experience in a hospital or imaging center environment preferred
Attention to detail and adept at maintaining high technical standards

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality diagnostic general ultrasound examinations on diverse patient populations
Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff for effective patient care coordination
Accurately document and communicate all findings to interpreting radiologists
Ensure equipment is safely and properly maintained, performing quality control checks regularly
Follow all safety protocols, infection control standards, and organizational policies
Educate and comfort patients throughout the imaging process to ease concerns and promote cooperation
Remain up-to-date on advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices in sonography

$2,113 - $2,235/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
