Position:

The Inside Sales Coordinator position is the mail liaison between the Customer and the Company.

Responsibilities:

Enters Request for Quote (RFQ) into the estimating system: use estimate results to generate quote letter to the customer.
Check all documents submitted by the customer for accuracy (Po's, specifications, drawings, etc.).
Enters the customers purchase order (PO) into the system. Create order wire and distribute documents to necessary departments (technology, machine shop, press forge, accounting, etc.).
Track status of orders.
Maintains filing system of all order documents and drawings.
Performs material adjustments on orders if applicable (dependent on month of melting).
Submit any necessary procedures for approval to customer and keep log of acceptance.
Participates in various sales and production meetings.
Establish and track freight movements of finished components.
Interact with shop floor personnel to track status of jobs and understand operational conditions and associated equipment.
Determine third party and/or outsource requirements, obtain relevant quotes, implement Pos, and track status.
Implement packaging requirements and documentation on finished components for both domestic and international shipping.
Maintains order execution and gross margin reports.

Requirements:

4-year bachelor's degree (BSE) or a related engineering degree with three to five years of experience in the forging, foundry, heat treatment, etc., and/or machining experience. Or ten years of experience.
Must be a US Citizen
Excellent reading, written, verbal, listening and overall communication and comprehension skills.
Strong collaboration skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to work cross functionally and interact with various levels of the organization.
