Full Job Description

Shore United Bank is seeking a Personal Banker to join our team. As a Personal Banker, you'll play a key role in helping clients take control of their financial future. You'll partner closely with individuals to understand their unique goals and provide personalized guidance on managing accounts, growing savings, and selecting the right banking and investment products. In this client-facing role, you'll build meaningful, long-term relationships by delivering exceptional service and tailored financial solutions that truly make a difference to our customers. You'll also serve as a trusted resource, proactively identifying opportunities to support clients' needs while resolving account questions quickly and efficiently. Essential Functions Include:

Aid customers in opening, managing, and optimizing their bank accounts and other products.
Ensure and maintain excellence in front-line coverage to greet and assist walk-in customers and cover the phones.
Work closely with bank partners for client referrals to Merchant, Wye Financial, Commercial Relationship Managers, and Branch Lenders.
Provide loan processing for customers based on loan authority established by Loan Policy; take applications and handle routine inquiries concerning loans, rates, and payment schedules.
Work on Teller line as needed.
Represent the Bank in a manner that maintains and expands positive relations with all customers, potential customers, and co-workers.
Maintains the highest level of confidentiality with all information obtained
Train employees on beneficial customer conversations to help the employee meet the customer's financial needs, i.e. referral training, cross-selling, needs conversations, etc.
Perform customer requests including but not limited to check orders, issuing debit cards, address changes, changing of business signers, fraud disputes, and safe deposit box entry.
Open new consumer and business accounts including CD's, IRA's, and safe deposit boxes.
Provide superior customer service through conversation to identify additional client needs, in-person and over the phone.
Help conduct and attend Branch Team Meetings.
Abide by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.
Demonstrates compliance awareness by completing all required regulatory and compliance training (e.g., BSA, CRA, ECOA) on or before deadlines, and actively supporting all policies, procedures, and practices that promote risk management, safety, and regulatory adherence.

Location: Dover Street Branch - 18 E. Dover St., Easton, MD 21601

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Full-time.
Non-exempt.
Days of Work: Monday-Friday, with rotating Saturdays (Closed Sundays and all Federal Holidays)

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma/GED equivalent.
A minimum of 3 years' experience in banking with an understanding of consumer lending
Prior experience in bank teller or customer service role

Compensation:

The pay range for this position is $22.50 to $26.50 hourly.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
