Full Job Description

Job Summary: We are currently seeking skilled Internal Medicine Physicians to provide services in our sub-acute and long term care settings on the Eastern Shore.

Tasks include but not limited to:

-Must be an excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.
- Collaboration with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments.
- Perform evaluations on patients with changes in condition upon facilities request .
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory and imaging studies.
- Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
- Document promptly all patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems .
- Attend to patients and their loved ones, providing information and education about preventive care, health promotion, and disease management as needed.
-Coordinate schedules and patient needs through our Administrative office.

- Developing partnerships with facilities

Qualifications

Medical degree with a focus on Primary Care Medicine or related field
Strong communication skills for effective Patient, Family and Facility interaction
Experience with care plans and patient management preferred
Proficiency in EHR systems
BC/BE
