Job Description:

The Adult Day Services Supervisor provides leadership, supervision, and operational oversight for Benedictine's Meaningful Day Services program. This position supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by ensuring high-quality, person-centered services that promote independence, employment, community engagement, and meaningful life experiences. The Adult Day Services Supervisor oversees staff performance, program compliance, scheduling, transportation coordination, and daily operations while fostering a positive and supportive environment for both staff and the individuals served.

Essential Duties:

Provide direction, supervision, coaching, and daily support to Meaningful Day Services staff.
Develop and monitor staff schedules to ensure appropriate program coverage.
Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and retain staff to meet program staffing goals.
Conduct performance evaluations, corrective action meetings, and disciplinary meetings as needed.
Ensure staff compliance with all required trainings, certifications, and agency requirements.
Review and approve timecards and attendance records in accordance with payroll deadlines.
Coordinate transportation services and monitor vehicle usage and mileage documentation.
Monitor petty cash accounts and submit reimbursement requests as needed.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation, including progress notes, attendance records, billing documentation, and required program records.
Monitor daily attendance and submit billable hours documentation in accordance with agency requirements.
Provide direct support to individuals during staffing shortages or program needs.
Provide crisis intervention services and complete incident reporting as required.
Utilize technology and assistive supports to enhance communication and therapeutic outcomes.
Promote meaningful activities that foster independence, skill development, self-sufficiency, and community inclusion.
Collaborate with community partners, employment specialists, and advocacy organizations to expand opportunities for individuals supported.
Ensure individuals' accomplishments and activities are recognized through agency communications and publications.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

Associate's Degree in Human Services or a related field preferred.
High School Diploma or GED required with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in lieu of an Associate's Degree.
Minimum of three years of experience supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities required.
Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge of Day Habilitation, Job Development, DDA, and DORS service definitions required.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively respond to changing program needs.
Must possess a valid driver's license in good standing and meet insurability requirements.
Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
Must provide proof of authorization to work in the U.S.
Must pass pre-employment drug screening, criminal background checks (CJIS/Family Law Article 5-561), and CPS clearance.
Must be able to perform Safety-Care physical interventions, except for approved temporary or minimal restrictions authorized by the Behavior Department.
Any required certifications will be coordinated and paid for by Benedictine.
Must demonstrate commitment to Benedictine's mission and values.
