About United Mortgage Lending LLC…

United Mortgage Lending LLC is a growing mortgage company committed to supporting loan officers and operations staff with the tools, technology, products, training, and hands-on leadership they need to succeed.

About the position…

The Recruiter will attract talent for positions such as Loan Offer Trainees, Loan Processors, Mortgage Loan Officers, and Branch Managers of producing teams that are ready to grow with a company built on service, support, and long-term success. The Recruiter will source, contact, screen and schedule interviews with local and remote talent, build strong industry relationships, present UML’s value proposition, and manage the candidate experience from first contact through final disposition.

About the Key Responsibilities…

Full Cycle Recruiting

Source passive talent on various talent sourcing platforms (i.e. LinkedIn, Indeed), existing talent database, Applicant Tracking System (ATS), etc.

Review applications of active talent for approved positions to hire.

Conduct outreach via phone calls, texts, emails, LinkedIn InMails, referrals, networking events and career fairs.

Pre-screen candidates to confirm the best match for job requirements and preferred qualifications.

Present United Mortgage Lending’s compensation model, products, support, technology, leadership, and company culture to prospective candidates.

Manage the candidate experience through the full recruiting cycle, from initial conversation to offer or rejection.

Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified talent for all assigned positions and perform regular follow-up.

Relationship Building

Build and maintain long-term relationships with loan officers and mortgage professionals.

Stay connected with prospects through calls, texts, meetings, events, and networking events.

Develop a strong referral network within the mortgage community.

Understand the needs of each candidate and hiring manage to identify the best matches for each specific position, manager, candidate and the company overall.

About you…

You have completed a Bachelor’s degree.

You have at least 2 years of experience with full cycle recruiting, sourcing and screening both passive and active candidates.

You can demonstrate a strong understanding of labor laws as it relates to recruiting and hiring.

You can build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers alike.

You are an excellent communicator and can demonstrate the ability to communicate professionally over the phone, in person and in writing.

You are self-motivated and can demonstrate the ability to manage high volume candidate outreach.

You are organized and have strong follow-up skills and can meet deadlines and goals.

If you have experience recruiting mortgage loan officers, sales, business development, and mortgage operations positions, that is a plus.

If you have a strong understanding of the mortgage industry, NMLS licensing, loan officer compensation, mortgage products, and producer motivations, that is a plus.
