Data Entry
Role Overview: The Data Entry role supports Angel Armor’s production and operations teams by accurately creating, entering, verifying, and maintaining production-related information in company systems and tracking tools. This role is primarily computer-based and is responsible for creating work orders, processing consumptions and outputs, maintaining records, updating spreadsheets and reports, and helping ensure system information remains accurate and up to date.
The Data Entry role works closely with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Inventory/Warehouse, and Operations leadership to support production flow, data accuracy, and timely recordkeeping. This position requires strong attention to detail, comfort spending approximately 90% of the day at a computer, and the ability to remain focused and engaged while performing repetitive data entry tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Create, enter, and maintain production work orders in company systems according to established procedures and production requirements.
- Process production consumptions, outputs, completions, and related transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Enter, review, and verify production data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency across electronic systems, spreadsheets, and tracking reports.
- Maintain accurate records for production activity, inventory movement, work order status, and other operational information as assigned.
- Update spreadsheets, trackers, dashboards, and reports used to monitor production activity, open items, discrepancies, and system accuracy.
- Review information for missing, incomplete, or inconsistent data and follow up with the appropriate team members to resolve discrepancies.
- Support accurate system transactions related to material usage, production output, inventory adjustments, and work order progress.
- Assist Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Inventory/Warehouse, and Operations leadership with data requests, record updates, and report preparation.
- Maintain organized electronic files, records, and documentation in accordance with company procedures and recordkeeping expectations.
- Communicate data concerns, transaction issues, missing information, or system discrepancies clearly and professionally.
- Follow standard work instructions and company processes to ensure consistent, accurate, and repeatable data entry practices.
- Recommend improvements to data entry processes, tracking tools, report formats, and system workflows when opportunities are identified.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workstation while following all company safety and workplace expectations.
Relationships:
- The Data Entry role typically reports to Operations leadership, Manufacturing Engineering, Production leadership, or another designated department leader.
- Internal relationships include Production Work Team Members, Area Managers, Manufacturing Engineering, Inventory/Warehouse, Operations Management, Quality, Purchasing, and Customer Service as needed.
- External relationships are limited but may include occasional interaction with vendors, auditors, customers, or visitors when supporting record requests, documentation, or system-related inquiries.

Skills and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree, administrative certification, business coursework, or related training preferred.
- One or more years of experience in data entry, administrative support, production coordination, inventory control, manufacturing, or a related role preferred.
- Strong computer skills and comfort spending approximately 90% of the workday performing computer-based tasks.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and comfortable updating spreadsheets, trackers, reports, and electronic records.
- Experience entering, reviewing, and maintaining data in ERP, inventory, production, or other business systems preferred.
- Ability to create, update, and verify work orders, production transactions, consumptions, outputs, and related records with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, missing information, and data discrepancies.
- Ability to follow written procedures, standard work instructions, and established data entry processes.
- Ability to stay focused, organized, and engaged while performing repetitive tasks throughout the day.
- Ability to communicate effectively with production team members, leads, engineers, inventory personnel, and management.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Data Entry Specialist helps ensure work orders, consumptions, outputs, spreadsheets, and tracking reports are completed accurately and kept up to date.
By maintaining clean and reliable data, this role supports production planning, inventory accuracy, reporting, decision-making, and communication across departments. The position contributes to improved efficiency, accountability, delivery performance, and confidence in the information used to support daily operations.
Salary:
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
