Full Job Description

Certified Medical Assistants & Certified Nursing Assistants

We are searching for a qualified and initiative-taking Certified Medication Aide and Certified
Nursing Assistant with excellent communication skills to join our assisted living team. The candidates’ responsibilities include a variety of patient care task including administering medication, reporting changes, collecting samples, and recording medication dosages.
Candidates must be meticulous and possess in-depth knowledge of patient care procedures.

CMA

Follow written or verbal instructions on how to manage medications.
Record medication dosages and times.
Observe patients and document changes in their condition.
Gather samples for analysis.
Ensure equipment inspected by CMA is working and cleaned.
Uphold all health and safety standards.
Respond to patient emergency call signals, bells, or intercom systems to identify patient needs.
Certified Medication Aide Requirements:
Current Certified Medication Aide certificate
High school diploma or relevant qualification.
Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Good understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology.

Familiarity with medical symptoms and signs of improvement conditions
Physical strength and stamina
First aid and CPR certifications
Grooming and bathing patients with low mobility
Preparing each patient’s room with necessary items
Helping patients eat and take medications
Making sure patients have regular meals and proper medication dosages
Monitoring vitals and behavior and reporting them to the nursing and medical staff
Transferring patients with low mobility from wheelchair to bed and vice versa

Certified Nursing Aide Requirements:

Current Certified Nursing Aide certificate
High school diploma or relevant qualification.
Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Excellent communication skills.

Note: Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
