Full Job Description

The Admissions Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for individuals seeking recovery housing through Eau Claire Sober Living. This position is responsible for guiding prospective residents through the admissions process from initial referral through intake and transition into services. This position conducts resident screenings, coordinates admissions, secures and maintains funding documentation, and assists residents in accessing community resources that promote independence, stability, and long-term success. The Admissions Resource Coordinator works collaboratively with internal staff, referral agencies, funding sources, and community partners to ensure residents receive comprehensive support throughout their stay. Duties and Responsibilities:

Handle all incoming calls and emails for Eau Claire Sober Living and respond in a timely manner.
Coordinate all resident admissions from referral to move-in.
Conduct intake interviews and complete comprehensive resident screenings to determine eligibility and appropriateness for services.
Collect, review, and maintain all required admission documentation.
Verify residency requirements, eligibility criteria, and program expectations with prospective residents.
Facilitate orientation and onboarding for new residents.
Maintain accurate and timely admission records in accordance with agency policies and regulatory standards.
Complete and submit funding applications and required documentation.
Coordinate with funding agencies, case managers, and referral sources regarding authorization and approvals.
Monitor funding timelines, renewals, and required documentation to ensure uninterrupted services.
Maintain accurate records of funding requests, approvals, denials, and renewals.
Ensure compliance with funding source requirements and agency policies.
Connect residents with services including, but not limited to:

Comprehensive Community Services (CCS)Financial assistance programs

Provide guidance to residents in completing applications for community services and benefits.
Monitor resident progress toward resource and life-skill goals.
Serve as the primary liaison between residents, referral agencies, funding sources, and community partners during the admission process.
Communicate regularly with staff and leadership regarding resident admissions and resource needs.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with community agencies and referral partners.
Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential resident records.
Ensure documentation complies with state, federal, licensing, and organizational standards.
Track admission metrics, funding status, and resource referrals.
Respond to inquiries and provide detailed information about the program
All other duties as requested by the Executive Director.

Qualifications:

Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to build rapport with residents and community partners.
Knowledge of community resources and public assistance programs.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong documentation and computer skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Commitment to person-centered, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented care.
Experience working with a team and as an individual to drive success.
Passion for recovery-based housing and community wellness.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
