SUMMARY
Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Oversee and prepare items for shipment. Responsible for assembly, address, and shipment of product. Oversee and receive, unpack, verify, and record incoming shipments. Transport product to proper location. Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage, production, shipping and receiving areas.

1. Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments, including enclosed trailers, flat beds, containers, etc. using a forklift or by hand as required.
2. Examine contents of incoming and outgoing shipments and compare with records, such as Bill of Lading or packing lists, to verify accuracy of the shipments.
3. Record shipment data, such as weight, dimensions, damages and discrepancies.
4. Confer and correspond with other departments to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and non-conformance to specifications.
5. Pack, seal, and label material to prepare it for shipping, using hand and power equipment.
6. Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in the office or warehouse.
7. Pull completed orders from stock and other products needed to complete orders.
8. Deliver or route materials to departments, using hand and power equipment.
9. Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage, production, and shipping and receiving areas.
10. Provide recommendations regarding space needs and availability.
11. Attach identifying tags to products, verifying that every item is properly labeled.
12. Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
13. Restock, clean, and re-organize warehouse as needed.
14. Participate in all aspects of final product quality control inspections affected by warehouse and shipping in coordination with Supervisors and other departments.
15. Perform General Production duties when and where needed.
16. Inspect forklift at the beginning of each shift and follow designated checklist. Report all defects/concerns to lead/manager immediately. Submit checklist daily to lead.
17. Keep all aisle ways and fire doors free of materials.
18. Follow all safety precautions and use protective equipment as required.
19. Follow good housekeeping practices.
20. Responsible for providing backup support to the Distribution Coordinator and effectively covering all related duties as needed.
21. Responsible for providing support and direction to the Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse Associate 1.
22. Maintain a supportive and positive personal attitude and working relationship with team members.
23. Perform any other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience
Must be at least 18 years of age. One year of related experience. A minimum of 2 years driving a forklift is required. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Must have excellent attention to detail and be extremely accurate.

- Clerical — Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, phone system, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
