Full Job Description

Delta Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical team. Under the direction of the Inpatient Director, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals from newborn to geriatric while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team in a fast-paced hospital environment.

What You’ll Do

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and the Nurse Practice Act
Prioritize and deliver care based on patient needs and diagnoses
Safely administer medications and monitor patient responses
Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
Support discharge planning and patient/family education
Collaborate with physicians, families, and care teams
Participate in shift handoff and unit communication

What You’ll Need

Active Colorado RN license
1 year of nursing experience preferred (new graduates welcome)
BLS required upon hire
ACLS & PALS required upon hire or within 6 months
New grads: ACLS within 1 year, PALS within 18 months
Specialty certification preferred

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist patients (up to 80 lbs unassisted; more with help)
Manual dexterity to operate medical equipment and document care
Ability to respond quickly in high-stress situations
