Job Summary
Seeking a dependable, self-directed Full-Time Farm Property Manager in Eden, NY, to oversee maintenance of land and facilities.
This is a hands-on role with real responsibility: serve as the primary point of contact for keeping the property in good operational order, exercise independent judgment with recommendations on equipment operation, infrastructure repairs, and grounds maintenance.
Ideal candidate will manage time effectively with minimal oversight, take pride in the quality of their work, and communicate proactively when issues arise.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced farm hand looking to take on a management-level role.
A three bedroom, 1.5 bath house on the property is provided in addition to the annual salary and benefits.

Responsibilities
Report equipment issues, property concerns, or maintenance needs to the property owner in a timely manner
Coordinate any repairs beyond your scope to the property owner, with input on appropriate contractors or materials as needed.
Sheep Operations: Feed and water sheep twice daily and ensure safety of animals, care of health and well-being of animals with veterinarian, as needed
Infrastructure: Organize, maintain, and clean barns, keeping all in order, warehouse, out buildings, light carpentry and other repairs, such as window replacement
Grounds: Fence maintenance, mowing, landscaping, care around barns, brush cleaning, snow plowing, and seasonal snow shoveling
Home Systems: Support outside contractors, i.e. plumbers, electricians, etc. as needed
Qualifications
Experience
· Property- Estate Maintenance
· Handyman Experience: Carpentry, plumbing, electrical
· Animal Care
· Yard Work
· Basic Mechanical Skills
· Comfortable with operating mid-size farm machinery equipment
Physical
· Comfortable with manual labor, outdoor work in all seasons
Independence
· Proven ability to work autonomously. Maintain discretion in all matters.
· Ability to assess what needs attention, prioritize appropriately, and flag issues before they become larger problems
Responsibility
· Clear and reliable communication with property owner through responsiveness to texts and calls
Required

Pay: $25,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
