Job Overview
Join our dynamic farm team as a Farm Labor Application, where your hands-on skills and passion for agriculture will help cultivate a thriving environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors across various farm operations, supporting crop production, livestock management, and equipment maintenance. We seek motivated individuals eager to contribute to sustainable farming practices while gaining valuable experience in agricultural work. Your role will be vital in ensuring the smooth running of daily farm activities, adhering to safety standards, and maintaining the health of livestock and crops alike.

Responsibilities
Assist with planting, harvesting, and crop care activities, including irrigation and horticulture tasks
Handle livestock management duties such as feeding, watering, animal husbandry, and health monitoring
Operate heavy equipment such as tractors, forklifts, and other farm machinery safely and efficiently
Perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of agricultural machinery and tools
Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting, loading, unloading, and material movement
Support equipment repair projects using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and basic mechanical knowledge
Ensure compliance with safety standards in all production processes and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment

Experience
Previous farm experience or outdoor work background preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership roles within the team
Familiarity with farm machinery operation including agricultural tractors and equipment maintenance is advantageous
Knowledge of animal care practices such as livestock handling and animal husbandry enhances your suitability for this role
Hands-on experience with irrigation systems, greenhouse operations, or horticulture is beneficial
Ability to perform manual labor involving heavy lifting and use of hand tools or power tools safely and effectively
Basic math skills are helpful for measurements, inventory management, and record-keeping related to farm activities

Pay: $25.58 - $30.81 per hour
