Full Job Description

We are helping our valued client, EcoConsilium, find a part-time Communications Specialist (15–20 hours per week) who is comfortable building relationships, making outreach calls, and keeping projects and data organized behind the scenes.

In this role, you'll support business development efforts by researching prospects, conducting outreach, scheduling meetings, and maintaining accurate records. You'll also assist with project coordination, reporting, and operational support. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter who enjoys meaningful work, works well independently, and thrives in a mission-driven environment.

**This is a remote position, but candidates must live in the Twin Cities metro area to be available for meetings and client visits. Please do not apply if you are not living in the Twin Cities metro area**

Responsibilities:

Research and identify prospective clients and key contacts
Conduct email, LinkedIn, and phone outreach campaigns
Schedule meetings and support follow-up communications
Maintain prospect databases, project records, and tracking systems
Assist with project setup, reporting, and administrative operations
Prepare brief summaries and updates for leadership
Support special projects related to business development and client services

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in outreach, business development, administrative, project coordination, or related work
Comfortable making professional phone calls and building rapport with new contacts
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, LinkedIn, and database/spreadsheet management
Ability to balance outreach activities with operational and administrative responsibilities
Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Passion for purpose-driven work and making a positive impact
