Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Primary Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive Obstetric/Gynecological ultrasound imaging under provider supervision
Adhere to AIUM, ACOG, and departmental testing and procedural protocols
Deliver high-quality study images and accurate clinical data
Prepare and guide patients, assisting physicians during ultrasound-guided procedures
Collect thorough patient histories and assess clinical needs for each exam
Ensure all supporting documentation meets exam requirements
Efficiently manage workflow, including scheduling add-on and urgent exams
Educate patients, families, and teammates on testing procedures
Maintain compliance with fit-for-duty, HIPAA, infection control, and safety standards
Operate and maintain imaging equipment; report maintenance needs
Participate in department meetings, performance improvement initiatives, and peer review
Complete order entry and exam tracking using information systems

Qualifications

Experience and training in General Ultrasound, specializing in OB/GYN
Familiarity with Maternal Fetal Medicine procedures/protocols preferred
Excellent patient care, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, high-volume environment
Adherence to regulatory, safety, and compliance standards
