Reports To: Senior Corporate Staff Accountant

Direct Reports: N/A

Position Type and Expected Hours:

· Non-Exempt Position

· Full Time Position

· 1st Shift: typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

· At times your hours and shift may stagger, overlap and/or extend beyond your normal schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Corporate Staff Accountant Accounts Receivable Activities and Responsibilities:

o Process sales invoices for all locations

o Upload invoices into customer portals when required

o Prepare and send customer statements

o Work closely with customers regarding collection of past due invoices; maintain close working relationships with customers.

o Process customer payments

· Corporate Staff Account Accounts Payable Activities and Responsibilities:

Three way match payable invoices for all locations

o Assists in maintaining receiving log to ensure all invoices are posted and reconciled in the proper period

o Communicate with vendors regarding invoice inquiries and payment status

· Corporate Staff Accountant Purchasing Activities and Responsibilities:

o Ensure proper approvals for requisitions

o Assign PO numbers and maintain a PO log

o Enter PO into Great Plains

o Send PO to suppliers for confirmation

o Maintain vendor quotes as needed for correct pricing

· Corporate Staff Account General Activities and Responsibilities:

o Miscellaneous tasks assigned by the CFO and Controller

o Assist CFO and Controller with various projects / corporate projects throughout the year

Minimum Requirements:

· Ability to speak, read and write English.

· Good writing and communication skills for internal and external correspondence

· Ability to successfully multi-task with attention to detail

·Professional and courteous communication with coworkers

·Good problem-solving skills

·Good organizational skills, including maintaining a neat and orderly work environment.

·Follow and recommend improvements to procedures as defined in the Lohmann QMS system

·Maintain control of the accounts receivable and accounts payable

·Works closely with all departments to accomplish group goals.

· Must be flexible to work overtime as required.

· Demonstrated support of company goals, values, and mission statement.

Required Education, Experience, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, etc.:

· Minimum of a High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Preferred: degree in accounting

· Accounting experience of at least 3 years

Travel: No travel is expected for this position.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
