Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the delivery of exceptional food quality, maintain high standards of food safety, and foster a positive, efficient work environment. Your leadership will drive team performance, manage inventory, and uphold the restaurant’s commitment to outstanding customer service. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional eager to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

Supervise all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, catering and presentation to ensure consistency and quality standards are met.
Coordinate with GM and Catering managers to manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations and sanitation standards.
Lead staff training and development initiatives, including onboarding new team members and conducting ongoing skill enhancement.
Coordinate shift management by scheduling kitchen staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring smooth operations during busy hours.
Utilize POS systems, order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and promote a collaborative team environment.

Experience

Proven management experience within quick service or casual dining restaurants, with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations.
Extensive food industry experience including culinary skills, food handling, and safety management.
Demonstrated success in supervising teams, managing hospitality teams, and leading staff training programs.
Familiarity with POS systems, efficient order processing and cash handling.
Experience in managing inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food cost management.
Prior casual dining or fine dining experience is highly desirable; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff, manage multiple priorities, and uphold high standards of customer service.
