Full Job Description

SELECTIONS COORDINATOR POSITION

WestWind Homes, a growing custom homebuilder seeks driven, organized, detail-oriented, enthusiastic individual to join our team and coordinate selections, take-offs, and purchasing of finish-related items for new single-family homes.

The Selections Coordinator is a salary plus commission sales and design position that executes the WestWind Homes interior selling model.

Responsibilities and Duties

Maximizes sales of interior products, in-home and in-house customer consultations, development of non-standard option proposals, and tracking of current sales and installations.
Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by demonstrating product and project expertise, providing follow-through on projects, and executing flawless projects on time.
Trains associates on sales tactics and related programs.
Responsible for providing excellent customer service by assisting customers in locating, selecting, demonstrating, and verifying correct installations in a friendly and professional manner

Minimum Qualifications

MUST be highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must be able to read construction drawings (blue prints).
Must be organized and detail-oriented.
Must be able to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently.
High school diploma or equivalent
Licensed driver with reliable transportation and ability to pass MVR screen.
Minimum 2 years experience in a job requiring architectural or interior design and any of the following:
2 years experience in a job requiring face-to-face sales and Completion of Associates Degree or Certificate program in Architectural or Interior Design
3 years face-to-face sales experience.

Preferred Qualifications

2 years experience in a design job requiring kitchen and/or bath design.
2 years project management experience.
2 years in-home or commission-based sales experience.
2 years experience using design software such as 20/20 or Computer-Aided Design.
