Salary: $80,000 per year

Help Build Two Growing Brands

Are you a marketing professional who enjoys both strategy and execution? Do you love creating engaging content, analyzing marketing performance, and seeing measurable business results?

Healthy Lawn and Extero are looking for an experienced Marketing & Communications Manager to lead the marketing efforts for two well-established New Jersey companies.

Healthy Lawn has built a strong reputation in residential lawn care, while Extero is an expanding commercial landscape and snow management company. Together, we are committed to delivering exceptional customer service, investing in our people, and building brands that stand apart from the competition.

This is an opportunity to make a real impact—not just manage social media.

What You'll Do

As our Marketing & Communications Manager, you'll be responsible for developing, coordinating, executing, and measuring all marketing initiatives across both companies.

Digital Marketing

Serve as the primary contact for our digital marketing agency
Manage Google Ads, Local Service Ads (LSAs), SEO, website improvements, and lead generation
Review monthly marketing performance and ensure vendors are meeting expectations
Continuously improve lead quality and reduce acquisition costs

Social Media & Content Creation

Manage Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social media platforms
Develop monthly content calendars
Create and publish engaging content at least 1–2 times per week for each company
Capture photography and video of completed projects, employees, and company culture
Produce drone footage for commercial properties (or coordinate with outside vendors)
Create customer testimonials and educational content

Email & Text Marketing

For Healthy Lawn, you'll create:

Seasonal email campaigns
Promotional campaigns
Customer newsletters
Renewal reminders
Referral campaigns
SMS/text marketing campaigns
Customer retention initiatives

Marketing Analytics

You'll be expected to measure what matters.

Track and report on:

Cost per lead
Cost per acquisition
Return on marketing investment
Website traffic
Conversion rates
Social media engagement
Email performance
Lead sources
Campaign effectiveness

Prepare and present a monthly executive marketing dashboard with recommendations for improvement.

Business Development Support

Support the sales team by creating:

Sales presentations
Proposal materials
Case studies
Commercial project portfolios
Trade show displays
Marketing brochures
Client leave-behind materials

Recruiting Marketing

Help attract top talent by creating:

Recruiting campaigns
Employment advertisements
Hiring videos
Social media recruiting content
Career page updates

Brand Management

Maintain a consistent, professional image across:

Websites
Social media
Fleet graphics
Uniforms
Printed materials
Proposal templates
Trade show displays
Company signage
Promotional products

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is both creative and analytical.

You should have experience with:

Digital marketing
Google Ads
SEO

Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite

Project management

Commercial service industry experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred
3+ years of marketing experience

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
