Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments to understand clients’ health status, goals, and physical capabilities.
Develop personalized workout plans that incorporate biomechanics, physiology, body mechanics, and nutrition principles to optimize results.
Lead engaging training sessions focused on strength training, heavy lifting, cardio, flexibility, and functional movement.
Motivate clients through positive coaching techniques, fostering confidence and sustained commitment to their fitness journey.
Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, manual handling safety, and injury prevention strategies such as first aid and CPR procedures.
Maintain detailed records of client progress, program adjustments, and session notes to ensure continuous improvement.
Promote fitness services effectively by understanding sales techniques and building strong rapport with clients to enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Proven experience in personal training, sports coaching, or teaching physical education within the fitness industry.
In-depth knowledge of biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics essential for safe program design.
Certification in personal training from an accredited organization; CPR/AED certification is mandatory.
Familiarity with fitness sales strategies and customer service excellence to attract and retain clients.
Ability to demonstrate motivational coaching skills that inspire clients to reach their goals confidently.
Experience with gym or health club operations, including program creation and client communication.
Strong understanding of nutrition fundamentals and the importance of holistic health approaches.
