Job Summary

You will be under our head growers. Follow SOPS and Instructions and lead team actively working with team making sure everything is done correctly. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Grower/Metric Specialist to oversee and optimize our cultivation operations. This role is pivotal in managing horticultural teams, ensuring the highest standards of crop production, and implementing precise measurement and tracking systems to drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess extensive growing experience, proficiency with agricultural environmental control systems, and a passion for sustainable cultivation practices. As a leader in our team, you will champion best practices in irrigation management, pest control, and greenhouse cultivation to produce premium quality plants and crops.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage horticultural teams to ensure efficient crop production and maintenance across outdoor and greenhouse environments.
Develop, implement, and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all aspects of cultivation, including planting, pruning, trimming, and harvesting.
Oversee irrigation systems and manage irrigation schedules to optimize water use while maintaining healthy plant growth.
Utilize agricultural environmental control systems to regulate temperature, humidity, lighting, and airflow for optimal crop development.
Monitor crop health through plant identification skills and manage integrated pest management strategies to prevent pest infestations and disease outbreaks.
Collect, analyze, and report on key metrics related to crop growth, yield, pest control efficacy, and resource utilization to inform decision-making.
Ensure compliance with safety standards related to heavy lifting, use of hand tools, land management, lawn care, landscaping, gardening, and greenhouse operations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in horticulture or agriculture with a focus on greenhouse cultivation or outdoor crop production.
Strong knowledge of irrigation management, agricultural environmental control systems, and crop pest management techniques.
Demonstrated ability to manage horticultural teams effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOPs), plant pest control methods, and garden trimming practices.
Ability to identify plants accurately using plant identification skills and perform basic math calculations for resource planning.
Experience working with irrigation systems, land management tools, hand tools, and heavy lifting tasks in outdoor or greenhouse settings.
Excellent organizational skills with a focus on managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
