About Us

We are a small, well-established criminal defense firm comprised of two attorneys. Despite our size, we maintain a fast-growing practice focusing on criminal defense, traffic infractions, and personal injury. We believe in providing top-tier representation and achieving the best possible outcomes for every client we serve.

Our main office is in Everett, and we handle matters in both King and Snohomish Counties. While we work hard, we also value work-life balance—we do not expect our attorneys to sacrifice their personal life or meet billable hour requirements to perform well. We are excited to bring another attorney on board to support our expanding practice.

Position Summary

As an Associate Attorney, you will manage your own caseload of criminal and traffic matters to achieve successful outcomes for your clients. You will handle various aspects of criminal defense, from case investigation and strategy to courtroom advocacy, representing clients throughout Snohomish and King Counties.

Key Responsibilities

Client Representation: Manage misdemeanor and felony cases, including arraignments, motions, hearings, and trials.
Legal Research & Writing: Conduct legal research, prepare motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
Strategy & Analysis: Analyze case evidence, develop defense strategies, and advise clients on available legal options.
Investigation: Interview witnesses, gather evidence, and work with investigators to build strong defenses.
Client Communication: Maintain open, proactive communication with clients, keeping them informed about case progress and outcomes.
Negotiation: Engage with prosecutors to negotiate plea deals or alternative resolutions in clients’ best interests.
Ethical Practice: Uphold legal and ethical standards in all aspects of representation.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association
2–3 years of experience in criminal defense or litigation
Strong oral advocacy, research, and writing skills
Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently while working as part of a small, collaborative team
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to thrive under pressure
Passion for criminal defense and a commitment to client-centered representation
