About Mountain Management

Mountain Management is a boutique property management company trusted with some of the best homes and condominiums in Beaver Creek Resort and the surrounding Vail Valley. We combine local knowledge, personal service and strong vacation-rental expertise to give the best experience for guests and homeowners.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced, commercially minded individual to lead our guest sales and homeowner relationship function. The role combines managing guest bookings, supporting and retaining our existing homeowners, and finding new homes to join our rental portfolio.

You will manage inbound enquiries from our website, VRBO, Airbnb and other channels until approximately one week before arrival, when the booking is handed to concierge for on the ground support. As the main contact for homeowners, you will use your knowledge of bookings, pricing and market trends to support the existing portfolio and credibly present Mountain Management to prospective owners.

Applicants must already have housing in the Vail Valley and a reliable vehicle they can use for work.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to guest enquiries, recommend suitable homes and convert qualified enquiries into confirmed bookings.
Manage bookings and guest communication through to the concierge handover approximately one week before arrival.
Manage existing homeowner relationships, including discussions around bookings, pricing, performance and market conditions.
Build relationships with realtors, homeowners and referral partners to generate new management opportunities.
Prepare rental projections, present our services and manage prospects through to signed agreements and onboarding.
Support pricing and revenue decisions, maintain accurate CRM and booking records, and report on conversion, retention and pipeline activity.
Work closely with the General Manager and operations team to maintain clear communication and a consistently high level of service.

What We Are Looking For

Experience in sales, business development, owner relations, luxury hospitality or vacation rentals.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.
A commercial, organised and performance-driven approach, with confidence discussing pricing and rental performance.
Knowledge of Beaver Creek, Vail and the surrounding areas; existing local relationships are advantageous.
Comfort using CRM, booking and office systems; HubSpot, Salesforce, Escapia, VRBO or Airbnb experience is beneficial.
A full driving licence and flexibility to attend occasional owner meetings and networking events outside standard hours.

Compensation and Benefits

$60,000-$80,000 base salary, dependent on experience, plus performance-based compensation.
High performers could earn upwards of $150,000, driven by bringing on new homes.
Full-time, year-round position based in Avon, with PTO, company iPhone and MacBook Pro.
Epic Local Ski Pass or equivalent wellness contribution after six months; additional benefits are being prioritised as part of a current restructuring.
