Full Job Description

Compass Advisory Group, Effingham, IL, USA

Employment Type: Full Time – 40 hours

This position is the opportunity to be part of an established investment and financial planning practice that has a consistent track record of growth and success.

This individual will have a primary focus on managing existing client relationships and actively participate in the advisory process for investment, retirement, risk management, and other financial planning considerations. In addition, this individual will be part of a collaborative team approach providing investment strategy implementation and monitoring on behalf of Compass Advisory Group’s clientele.

This is a salaried position with a competitive benefits package. Bonus and career advancement available based on applicant’s background. Advancement to Wealth Advisory Role requires achievement of appropriate licenses. (Series 7, 65, Insurance Life and Health). Position will work from various branch locations and also remotely on a limited basis.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

Education and Experience

· Bachelor's Degree or higher is preferred.

· Core knowledge within the financial industry, financial products and concepts preferred.

· Prior experience including securities and insurance licensing in the financial services & investment industry is preferred.

Qualifications

· High personal ethical standards and sound judgement.

Well-developed interpersonal skills and able to build trusting relationships.
Ability to think critically and to effectively present complex financial scenarios.
Written and oral communication skills which clearly and accurately convey message.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Above average knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Ability to embrace technology and adapt to multiple software systems quickly.
Open and receptive to feedback and coaching.

Strullmyer, President and owner of Compass Advisory group has 30+ years of experience and as a registered investment advisor operates under a fiduciary obligation to all clients.
