RN DI Navigator (Bonutti)
Job Description
The RN DI Navigator provides patient care for imaging patients in the Diagnostic Imaging clinical environment, including patient assessment and medication administration under the supervision of a radiologist or other qualified licensed practitioner. The role is also responsible for the navigation, tracking, and communication of patient imaging follow-up recommendations, including coordination of the Lung Cancer Screening Program.

Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours a week
Required: ADN, IL Registered Nurse (RN), BLS Within 90 days of hire
Pay: Based on experience, starting at $35.43
Responsibilities
Administer medications as prescribed., Assist and guide imaging technologists in providing patient care as needed., Educate patients, families and providers about lung cancer screening process, risks, and benefits., Manage all aspects of the CT Lung Screening database and the follow-up manager database. including inputting patient screening information, and distribution of patient letters., Manage medical emergencies and adverse reactions under the guidance of a radiologist, physician or other licensed practitioner., Manages and communicates with referring physicians and patients regarding recommended follow-up imaging exams., Perform other duties as assigned., Prepare program statistics., Responsible and accountable for all elements of nursing process when providing and/or supervising direct patient care., Schedule appointments and diagnostic studies as required., Support providers, patients, and families through the screening and follow-up programs.
Requirements
