Human Resources Coordinator
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our client's team in Kearny Mesa on a 3-6 month temporary assignment with the potential to become a permanent employee based on performance and business needs. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys supporting employees, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Job Responsibilities

Coordinate full-cycle recruiting, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and assisting with hiring decisions
Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and completion of employment documentation
Process I-9 forms and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Maintain accurate employee records and update information within the HRIS system
Assist with payroll processing, timekeeping, attendance tracking, and employee scheduling
Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries
Respond to employee questions regarding company policies, benefits, and HR procedures
Assist with employee relations matters while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Prepare HR reports, maintain personnel files, and support audits as needed
Coordinate training sessions, employee engagement activities, and company events
Partner with managers to support performance management and employee development initiatives
Perform general administrative duties to support the Human Resources department

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of Human Resources experience required
Knowledge of HR compliance, I-9 verification, and employment laws
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and customer service skills

Assignment Details:

3-6 month contract role, possibility to go permanent
Onsite role
Located in Kearny Mesa, San Diego
Compensation: $26.00-$29.00 per hour DOE
Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:30pm PST
