Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Regional BOM Manager to lead and oversee the billing operations across multiple healthcare facilities within a designated region. This pivotal role involves ensuring compliance with all medical billing regulations, managing revenue cycle processes, and optimizing revenue streams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare billing management, team leadership, and a comprehensive understanding of insurance and government program regulations such as Medicare and Medicaid. Join us to drive efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in our regional billing functions while supporting the financial health of our healthcare organization.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate regional billing teams to ensure accurate and timely submission of medical claims across hospitals and clinics.
Oversee compliance with all relevant medical billing regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance third-party billing standards.
Manage the implementation and utilization of billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems to streamline revenue cycle processes.
Ensure adherence to healthcare coding standards, to facilitate precise medical coding and billing.
Monitor hospital revenue cycle management activities, identifying areas for process improvement and implementing best practices.
Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations for team members to foster a high-performing billing department.
Collaborate with clinical staff, finance teams, and third-party payers to resolve billing discrepancies and optimize cash flow.
Stay updated on evolving healthcare billing regulations and industry trends to maintain compliance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Proven experience in healthcare billing management with a strong understanding of hospital revenue cycle processes.
Long Term Nursing Home Experience
In-depth knowledge of medical billing regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with various billing software platforms.
Experience managing teams within a healthcare setting, demonstrating leadership skills and effective communication.
Strong understanding of health insurance policies, electronic health records (EHR) management, medical coding (ICD), and insurance third-party billing procedures.
Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards related to medical coding, billing regulations, and revenue cycle management.
Ability to analyze data reports to identify trends, discrepancies, or opportunities for process enhancements.
