Full Job Description

The Account Manager Assistant (AMA) supports the team by handling administrative and operational tasks related to client accounts. This role focuses on internal processing, data management and coordination with carriers, helping ensure accuracy, compliance and efficiency throughout the policy lifecycle. The AMA works within the agency's management system (Epic) to maintain accurate records and support day-to-day servicing activities.

Work Performed:

Assist with servicing personal lines business through data entry, documentation, policy updates, audits, premium comparisons and general account maintenance
Support internal team members and coordinate with carriers to facility policy processing and resolve routine inquiries
Prepare and process policy-related documents, including binders, ID cards, insurance summaries, proposals and certificates
Provide administrative support for billing activities, including generating invoices, reconciling account discrepancies and monitoring outstanding payments

Excellent communication, customer service and relationship management skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
Proactive problem-solving and analytical abilities
Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Office, Outlook)

Preferred Education & Experience

Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (required, or must obtain within 30 days of employment)
Experience with commercial lines insurance is preferred, but not required
Familiarity with agency workflows and management systems (e.g., Applied Epic) is a plus
Understanding of agency workflows and procedures
