Operations Manager - Dewy Rose Georgia
Build the next stage of a granite memorial operation
SuperNova International is looking for a hands-on Operations Manager who wants to build, improve, and lead - not simply maintain a warehouse. You will own the day-to-day performance of our Dewy Rose branch and help evolve it from primarily granite warehousing and distribution into an integrated production operation with advanced, ultra-high-resolution dual-laser etching and expanded sandblasting capability.
This is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial operator who acts like an owner: sees problems early, develops people as a team, tests improvements, builds repeatable systems, and follows through. You will have real decision authority on-site, along with a named corporate partner for support and escalation.
Prior laser etching experience is not required. We will train the right leader on our dual laser process. We care more about your record of leading people, learning industrial processes, improving operations, and delivering measurable results.
Why this work matters
SuperNova serves monument and deathcare professionals with granite memorial products and production services. Our customers serve families at meaningful moments, so craftsmanship, dependable delivery, respectful communication, and long-term relationships are central to how we work. Our AP Lazer® branch manufactures and distributes innovative laser engraving machines (www.aplazer.com).
What you will own
- Lead all daily warehouse, fulfillment, distribution, and branch-facility activity.
- Keep LTL shipments, flatbed loads, customer pickups, and local deliveries accurate, safe, visible, and on schedule.
- Recruit, schedule, coach, and hold accountable the warehouse, fulfillment, driver, and production team.
- Learn SuperNova's dual-laser process, lead production scheduling and quality, and build operator capability, standard work, and preventive-maintenance discipline.
- Help design and execute the branch's evolution into an integrated laser-etching and sandblasting operation.
- Own inventory accuracy, cycle counts, reorder timing, product care, and issue resolution.
- Manage local vendors and contractors, including sandblast turnaround, quality, and working relationships.
- Keep the building, grounds, security, equipment, and service providers operating safely and reliably.
- Use a small set of practical KPIs to run daily priorities, surface constraints, and improve on-time delivery, quality, uptime, staffing, and customer reliability.
- Coordinate closely with corporate and customer-facing teammates to resolve order and service issues quickly and professionally.
What success looks like
- Orders move accurately and on time across all fulfillment channels.
- The team knows the priorities, standards, and measures of a good day - and reliable employees are recruited, trained, and retained.
- Inventory is accurate, damage and rework are controlled, and operating problems are visible before they become customer problems.
- Laser etching produces consistent quality with strong uptime; the sandblast relationship is reliable and measurable.
- The site is safe, secure, organized, and well maintained.
- Within the first year, the branch has a practical, implemented roadmap for expanded production capability and growth.
Required qualifications
- Five or more years of progressive experience in warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, industrial production, branch operations, or a comparable environment.
- At least three years directly leading frontline employees, including hiring, scheduling, coaching, accountability, and performance decisions.
- A track record of improving an operation with measurable results in delivery, quality, throughput, inventory, cost, safety, staffing, or customer reliability.
- Comfort working hands-on in an active warehouse and production facility while also building systems and using operating data.
- Strong judgment, integrity, communication, relationship skills, and follow-through.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Dewy Rose, Georgia.
Helpful, but not required
- Experience with heavy, oversized, fragile, or high-value products; LTL, flatbed, customer pickup, or local-delivery operations.
- Experience in granite, stone, monuments, building materials, fabrication, or the deathcare industry.
- Experience learning or leading production machinery, CNC, automation, engraving, sandblasting, maintenance, or a new production-line launch.
- Vendor, contractor, facility, inventory, safety, or operating-budget ownership.
Why join SuperNova
- Real operating authority and visible impact.
- A chance to build a new production capability around advanced dual-laser technology.
- A relationship-centered culture serving a meaningful B2B industry.
- Corporate support, clear decision paths, and a 90-day onboarding plan.
- Room for the scope to grow into broader production, branch leadership as SuperNova expands its granite and laser applications.

Work environment and physical requirements
The Operations Manager primarily leads, coordinates, and supervises Georgia warehouse operations. However, the manager must be able to step in when needed to maintain safe operations, cover staffing gaps, assist with loading or material movement, operate a forklift if properly trained and authorized, and occasionally deliver or pick up granite using a company vehicle. This role involves periodic standing and walking in the warehouse and working around forklifts, palletized granite, and material-handling equipment. Required personal protective equipment, including safety-toe footwear and task-specific PPE, must be worn when entering designated work areas or performing operational duties. The manager must maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfy applicable company driving and equipment-operator requirements. Heavy granite must be handled using approved mechanical equipment and safe team procedures. Reasonable accommodations will be considered for qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the position’s essential functions.
