Full Job Description

Job Summary

The Sales Director is accountable for leading the remote inside sales organization, accelerating profitable revenue growth, establishing disciplined sales processes, and driving cross-functional execution. This role provides strategic leadership, practical sales coaching, and team development to support consistent performance and scalable growth.

Duties

Recruit, develop, coach, and hold accountable a remote team of Inside Sales Representatives located throughout the United States.
Develop and continuously improve sales processes, scripts, performance standards, and KPIs that drive profitable revenue growth.
Lead the response to inbound sales inquiries, ensure accurate customer setup in the Operations pipeline, and support conversion of new customers into recurring revenue relationships.
Partner with Marketing to coordinate lead generation strategy, lead routing, campaign follow-up, and sales conversion performance.
Partner with Operations to ensure accurate customer handoffs, timely initial service delivery, and successful conversion of recurring revenue sales.
Partner with functional leaders across the organization to advance company revenue, customer growth, and service execution objectives.

Requirements

8+ years of inside sales team leadership experience in a home services industry selling to end consumers.
Proven experience hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance-managing remote Inside Sales Representatives across multiple locations.
Demonstrated ability to build and improve sales processes, scripts, call cadences, lead follow-up standards, and repeatable sales playbooks.
Strong command of CRM usage, pipeline management, sales activity tracking, forecast accuracy, and KPI reporting.
Ability to analyze conversion rates, lead quality, close rates, rep productivity, and recurring revenue performance to identify improvement opportunities.
Experience partnering with Marketing to improve lead generation, lead routing, campaign follow-up, and sales conversion outcomes.
Experience partnering with Operations to ensure accurate customer handoffs, service readiness, and a strong customer experience after the sale.
Strong customer-facing communication skills with the ability to handle inbound inquiries, overcome objections, and close recurring revenue sales.
High accountability leadership style with the ability to set expectations, inspect performance, coach consistently, and drive team results.
