Job Title: Lawn Care & Landscape Crew Member (No Experience Needed) – Elgin, IL

Pay:

Base pay: $18/hour
Pay for Performance: Clear path to increase to $19–$23/hour based on speed and quality of work
Top performers can earn high $20s and grow toward $30+/hr in the future as skills and responsibility increase

About the Role

We’re a growing mowing & landscaping company in Elgin, IL looking for hard‑working, reliable people to join our crew.

No experience? No problem. We’ll train you if you bring the work ethic.

You’ll be working outdoors mowing lawns, trimming, edging, doing cleanups, and helping with various landscape tasks.

What You’ll Do

Mow, trim, edge, and blow residential and commercial properties
Assist with spring/fall cleanups and landscaping projects
Load/unload equipment and keep trucks and tools clean and organized
Follow direction from crew lead and work as part of a team
Show up on time, work hard, and take pride in how the property looks when we leave

Pay & Growth

Start at $18/hour
With Pay for Performance, you can move from $18/hour to $19–$23/hour depending on:
How fast you work (while maintaining standards)
The quality and consistency of your work
Your reliability and attitude on the crew
Our best crew members grow into lead positions earning high $20s, with potential toward low $30s in the future

We’ll show you exactly what it takes to move up.

What We’re Looking For

No experience required – experience helps, but work ethic matters more
Able to work outdoors in heat, cold, and all types of weather
Can lift 40–50 lbs and be on your feet most of the day
Reliable transportation to our Elgin, IL location
Positive attitude, coachable, and willing to learn
