Experienced Dog Groomer – Full-Time

Just For Paws is looking for an experienced Dog Groomer to join our St. Charles team full-time.

At Just For Paws, grooming is about more than a great haircut. We believe every dog deserves to be treated with patience, kindness, respect, and individual attention. Our goal is to make the grooming experience as stress-free as possible while providing a calm and enjoyable environment for the pets entrusted to our care.

Just as importantly, we believe great pet care takes a great team. Just For Paws is a very team-oriented business. We work together, communicate openly, help one another when needed, and share responsibility for creating a positive experience for our pets and customers. We’re looking for someone who wants to contribute to that kind of environment—not simply come in, groom their dogs, and go home.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an experienced groomer who:

Has professional dog grooming experience and is confident working with a variety of breeds, coat types, and grooming styles
Takes pride in producing safe, consistent, high-quality grooms
Handles dogs with patience, compassion, and respect
Understands that every dog is different and adjusts their approach accordingly
Communicates professionally and builds strong relationships with pet parents
Keeps a clean, safe, and organized grooming environment
Is dependable, positive, and willing to jump in when a teammate needs help
Communicates well with fellow groomers and the rest of the Just For Paws team
Understands that maintaining a successful salon is a shared responsibility
Can give and receive feedback respectfully
Wants to continue learning and growing as a grooming professional
