Job Summary: Bluegrass Imaging LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Wedding Video Editor to join our team as an independent contractor. This role involves project-based work with flexible earning potential based on the number and complexity of projects you choose to undertake. Training will be provided to help you develop skills in wedding film editing, including storytelling, color correction, audio editing, and workflow management. The position is suitable for individuals with a good eye for storytelling and attention to detail who are eager to learn and grow professionally in the wedding videography industry. The work is primarily remote but may require some in-person training or project discussions for local candidates.
Responsibilities: Edit professional wedding films using Adobe Premiere Pro Organize and manage large amounts of video footage Create emotional, engaging, and cinematic wedding films Sync and edit multiple camera angles and audio sources Select footage that effectively tells the couple's story Edit wedding ceremonies, speeches, vows, receptions, and other important moments Perform basic color correction and audio adjustments Follow established editing workflows and creative direction Make revisions based on feedback Meet agreed-upon project deadlines Maintain an organized workflow and communicate consistently throughout each project
Qualifications: Candidates must provide their own computer capable of handling professional video editing software, reliable internet connection, and an Adobe Premiere Pro subscription. Other preferred equipment or software can be used at your discretion. While professional editing experience is preferred, we are willing to train individuals demonstrating the right attitude, work ethic, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn. Training may include techniques in Premiere Pro editing, wedding film workflow, storytelling, selecting footage from multiple cameras, audio editing, color correction, and understanding our specific editing style. This position offers compensation per project ranging from approximately $400–$800 per completed wedding edit (approximately $20-$40 per hour), depending on project size and complexity. Payment is made upon project completion according to the agreed rate. There are no hourly wages or guaranteed projects; earnings depend on workload availability and your capacity to complete projects.
