Job Summary:

The Assistant Kitchen Manager oversees all Kitchen operations of Mick’s All American Pub. They are ultimately responsible for food quality, kitchen cleanliness and daily operations.

Essential Job Functions:

· The AKM is responsible for operating the kitchen in an organized, properly staffed and profitable manor.

· They must maintain consistent food quality, recipe adherence and adequate food inventory levels appropriate with revenue and profitability.

· Maintain accurate prep, pull and ordering sheets.

· Oversee all hiring, onboarding and training of kitchen staff.

· Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.

· Maintain kitchen cleanliness, positive atmosphere and stay on top of minor maintenance related needs.

· Enforce all food health & safety laws and regulations.

· Model exceptional work ethic and demonstrate positive teamwork with all staff members.

Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of the line cook is to prepare all ordered food as specified by recipe in a timely, appealing and food safe manner. To do this, periodically restocking line, sanitizing of utensils and boards and any preparing of prep items that run out.

Essential Job Functions:

· Responsible for correct preparation, consistency, taste, and presentation of food as instructed by the Kitchen Manager.

· Perform mainly in one or more areas (sauté, grill, fry, pantry, prep, etc…) as assigned by the Kitchen Manager.

· Properly open, prep, stock, rotate and close each station as instructed by the KM.

· Verify all raw & prepped product meets Mick’s quality standards.

· Respond to food complaints by correcting errors immediately to ensure positive guest satisfaction. Works with and assists the service staff and management to achieve this result.

· Responsible to limit food waste and reports spoilage to the Kitchen Manager.

· Work with other cooks of varying levels of culinary skill and ability to complete assigned objectives.

· Ensure that cleanliness and proper sanitation procedures are always followed as instructed. Follows HACCP guidelines for holding and serving temperatures as instructed.

· Assists with checking-in deliveries and stocking.

· Work with the management team to enhance the goals of Mick’s All American Pub on a daily basis. Attends kitchen staff meetings.

In addition to the essential functions listed above, the employee is expected to exercise honesty, integrity and respect with all clients and co-workers, maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, demonstrate a positive attitude, communicate effectively with co-workers and clients, work with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail, respect the work environment and keep it as neat and clean as possible. Also, the employee must exercise initiative to learn new skills and tasks and to help co-workers when possible. The employee is also expected to perform such other duties and functions as required from time to time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
