Join our team at Home Instead, a premier provider of in-home care services dedicated to enriching the lives of aging adults and their families. As a Caregiver with us, you will have a vital role in delivering personalized care and support to seniors, enabling them to live safely and comfortably in their own homes for as long as possible. Do you have a valid driver's license, car insurance, reliable car and comfortable driving a client around?
Are you willing to drive up to 25 miles from your home to care for your client?
Are you able to lift or push/pull 25 pounds?

Schedule

Weekdays and every other weekend with flexible times

As a Home Instead Caregiver, you will be responsible for....

Companionship
Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
Preparing meals and snacks
Medication reminders
Personal cares (ADL's)
Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom
Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving
Transportation
Some clients may need extra care with Hoyer Lifts, Gait Belts, Alzheimer's care, stroke, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
Must be able to lift/move 25 lbs without assistance
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
Pass a background check
18+ years of age
Pass Drug Test
