Full Job Description

TWR, LLC is a specialty vehicle manufacturing company dedicated to meeting the needs and exceeding the expectations of customers while performing as the best possible source of quality products. TWR, LLC was formed in an effort to create a leading transportation solution-based company on safety and compliance. TWR, LLC serves a variety of different markets and continues to grow every day.

Job Summary: The role of this position is to assist the Plant manager to their discretion. These duties will include, but are not limited to: Design, Integration, and Implementation of plans to upfit and convert mobile specialty units. This process may include Production of Plan sets from Sales and Design concepts to Manufacturing Drawings. This person must have at least 2 years in soildworks experience.

Responsibilities

Drafting of Sales concept Floorplans and Elevations in solidworks
Drafting of New Conceptual Parts
Drafting of Manufacturing Plan Set

o Floorplan

o Elevations

o Framing

o MEP’s

Collaborates with cross functional groups in performing design reviews
Establishes and maintains accurate production standard plans
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Adhere to the required work schedule
May be required to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as business needs dictate

Qualifications

Candidate must be a high school graduate or GED and have 2-5 years of vehicle manufacturing (ie: RV, shuttle bus, truck body) design experience in Solidworks. Experience should include using CAD software, using form tools, and welding. Having CAD certifications or degree in engineering is a plus. Having a CDL license is a plus. Candidate must have a strong attention to detail and have proven ability to maximize efficiency of product flow, design and problem solving. Candidate should have the ability to think outside the box while staying within legal & safe guidelines. Candidate must have a high level of motivation, energy and have a customer-focused attitude.

This position will require the following physical abilities: the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl; sit or stand for extended periods of time; ability to use hands, fingers to grasp, move, assemble and inspect equipment; ability to see objects that are less than a few feet away.

Position may also require other physical demands to successfully perform the essential functions of this job to include: standing for long periods, climb, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Compensation Plan:

The position will be paid in a non-exempt status for all hours worked and reports to the Controller. It is a full-time position and will be paid weekly.
