INOVA Federal Credit Union is seeking a strategic, innovative, and results-driven Assistant Vice President (AVP), Business Solutions to lead the alignment of technology, data, automation, and innovation with organizational goals.
This executive leadership position is responsible for overseeing business systems, digital platforms, business intelligence, reporting, automation, software development, and emerging technologies that improve operational efficiency and enhance the member experience. Working closely with executive leadership, department leaders, and technology teams, the AVP, Business Solutions will identify opportunities, implement solutions, and help shape the future of how technology supports our organization.

Provide strategic leadership for the Credit Union's business systems, digital platforms, data strategy, and business intelligence initiatives.

Develop and execute technology strategies that align with organizational goals and enhance operational efficiency.

Lead business application support, automation initiatives, software development, and process improvement efforts.

Partner with executive leadership and department managers to identify opportunities for innovation and operational excellence.

Oversee data analytics, reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions that support informed decision-making.

Evaluate, implement, and optimize emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and digital solutions.

Manage cross-functional projects from planning through implementation while ensuring successful execution and stakeholder engagement.

Build strong partnerships with technology vendors and evaluate solutions that provide long-term organizational value.

Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Business Solutions team while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Collaborate closely with Information Technology leadership to ensure business systems align with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements.

Establish governance, documentation, and best practices for technology projects and business applications.

Monitor technology trends and recommend innovative solutions that improve member service and organizational performance.

Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, internal policies, and security standards.

Perform other leadership responsibilities as assigned.
The ideal candidate is an accomplished leader who combines strategic thinking with strong technical and business acumen.
We're looking for someone who has:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field required.

Master's degree preferred.

Five or more years of progressive leadership experience in business systems, technology, digital transformation, or a related field.

Demonstrated experience leading enterprise technology initiatives that produced measurable business results.

Strong understanding of business intelligence, reporting, data analytics, and automation technologies.

Experience managing cross-functional projects and organizational change initiatives.

Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Experience evaluating and managing technology vendors and third-party business solutions.

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.

Passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience within financial services, banking, or the credit union industry.

Familiarity with SQL, Oracle databases, or business intelligence platforms.

Experience with core banking systems, digital banking platforms, or regulated financial environments.

Experience with platforms such as Fiserv DNA, Alkami Digital Banking, Lodestar Business Intelligence, or similar technologies.

Experience implementing artificial intelligence (AI), robotic process automation (RPA), or workflow automation solutions.

This is a full-time, on-site leadership position located at INOVA Federal Credit Union's Corporate Office in Elkhart, Indiana.
The AVP, Business Solutions will work closely with executive leadership and department leaders across the organization to improve business processes, leverage technology, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance both the employee and member experience.
