Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Manager/Head Chef to lead our culinary team with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional food quality and service. Your leadership will drive the development of innovative menus, maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation, and foster a positive, collaborative environment. Duties

Lead and manage the entire kitchen team, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth daily operations
Develop and implement creative menus that align with brand standards and customer preferences, incorporating fine dining and catering elements
Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served
Manage inventory control and food production processes to minimize waste while maintaining optimal stock levels
Enforce strict food safety sanitizing procedures and hygiene standards across all kitchen areas
Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with attention to detail and timely execution
Supervise shift management, including scheduling staff, monitoring performance, and providing ongoing training in culinary techniques and customer service
Oversee cost control measures related to food management, labor costs, and overall kitchen expenses
Ensure compliance with all health regulations, dietary department guidelines, and food handling protocols
Foster a culture of teamwork, leadership, and continuous improvement within the culinary department

Experience

Proven experience in food service management or restaurant management roles with a focus on kitchen operations
Extensive culinary experience including fine dining preparation, catering services, and banquet experience
Demonstrated supervisory experience leading diverse kitchen teams in high-volume environments
Strong background in menu planning, food production, inventory management, and cost control strategies
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitizing procedures, and dietary requirements within the hospitality industry
Experience managing shifts effectively while maintaining high standards of service quality
Familiarity with bartending or beverage service is a plus but not required
