Salary: $110k - 120k per year + none

Randstad is currently working with a Manufacturing Company that is hiring a Plant Controller at their facility in Elkmont, AL. This is a Direct Hire position with our client.

1st Shift - 7:00am - 4:30pm

Salary - $110,000 - $120,000

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
5+ years of practical experience, preferably in a manufacturing operation, with focus in cost accounting.
Computer skills with knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office software.
Knowledge and understanding of general accounting, cost accounting, purchasing, and payroll policies and procedures.
Manufacturing experience based financial and operational knowledge.
Demonstrated skills in operation planning and cost reduction.

salary: $110,000 - $120,000 per year

Responsibilities

Direct and validate accounting activities including general receipts, scrap, labor distribution, inventories, accounts payable, fixed assets transactions and journal entries.
Identify and resolve reporting discrepancies including system processing or plant policies and procedures.
Analyze monthly plant financial results.
Initiate and implement cost reduction recommendations.
Explain variances and corrective action taken to eliminate unfavorable variances or maintain favorable variances.
Review and approve capital expenditure requests.
Confirmi that the Formal four-quarter rolling forecast process is completed and submitted to corporate quarterly.
Plan and develop the annual plant operating budgets based on current plant capabilities and desired cost, service and quality objectives.
Manage cycle count programs for all inventory including finished goods.
Set product cost standards via annual cost.
Personal and personnel development of direct reports.
