One Experienced Baker and one entry level

Mid-Career Bakery Production Role

We are seeking an experienced, dependable Baker to join our bakery team. The ideal candidate has several years of hands-on production baking experience, strong knowledge of dough handling and baking techniques, and the ability to produce consistent, high-quality breads, pastries, and baked goods in a fast-paced bakery environment.

About the Role

The Baker will be responsible for preparing, proofing, baking, finishing, and organizing a variety of bakery products while maintaining our standards for flavor, appearance, freshness, sanitation, and efficiency. This position is well suited for a mid-career baker who is confident working independently, comfortable with early production schedules, and eager to contribute to a collaborative bakery operation.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and bake breads, pastries, laminated doughs, cookies, cakes, and other bakery items according to established recipes and production standards.

· Scale, mix, divide, shape, proof, bake, cool, finish, and package products accurately and efficiently.

· Operate and maintain commercial bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, proofers, sheeters, scales, and related tools.

· Monitor baking times, oven temperatures, product color, texture, and quality to ensure consistency.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work area throughout the shift.

· Track ingredient levels, rotate inventory, reduce waste, and communicate supply needs to management.

· Follow all food safety, sanitation, allergen, and workplace safety standards.

· Support production planning and help train or guide junior bakery team members when needed.

· Contribute ideas for seasonal items, process improvements, and product quality enhancements.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a diverse range of baked goods, including bread, cakes, pastries, and specialty items according to established recipes and quality standards
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, proofers, and other baking tools
Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation standards throughout all stages of food preparation
Follow recipes meticulously to ensure consistency in flavor, appearance, and portion sizes across all baked items
Laminating is a plus. We specialize in croissants.
